This program follows Illinois’ Early Learning Standards, preparing children for the transition to Kindergarten with a focus on academic readiness, social skills, and confidence-building. Big Bear Day Camp Program (Ages 6–12) When school’s out, Big Bear Day Camp is in full swing! Our summer camp blends outdoor fun, field trips, arts & crafts, sports, and themed activities to keep kids active, learning, and having a blast all summer long.

Across all age groups, our curriculum blends play-based learning with structured academic activities. We integrate technology in the classroom, provide hands-on learning experiences, and encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and collaboration.

We provide child care for school age students before and after school. This program helps parents balance their schedules while giving students a safe learning environment before and after school.
